Dorothy Marie Rigdon, 76, of the 3800 block of Pughsville Road, died in her residence on July 10, 1995.
She was a native of Lima, Ohio, and was a retired bookkeeper of 42 years for Ohio Gas Co. She was a member of Delphos United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (NU)26 Delphos, Ohio, where she was treasurer for 24 years.
She is survived by her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth McCormick of Laurel, Miss., and Constance E. Rabey of Suffolk; a half-sister Joann Blair of Ashland, Oregon. Other survivors include one niece, Marilyn Stack of Bracey, Va.; and three nephews, Robert Maxson of Portsmouth, and John and Tom McCormick.
A funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. James Arcieri Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a visitation tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens is the place of burial. Memorial contributions may be made to Maryview Hospice.
