Lucille Johnson, 101, of the 500 block of E. Liberty St., died July 9, 1995.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Claremont, Va. She was a member of Garden of Prayer Temple C.O.G.I.C., Portsmouth.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Johnson and Claudia Johnson, both of Norfolk; a son, Edward Johnson of Washington, D.C.; a niece, Alma Shelton of Hampton; a nephew, McKenely Bailey of Newport News; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of other great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Garden of Prayer Temple C.O.G.I.C. by Bishop L.E. Willis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Hale Funeral Home. There will be a wake from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Family and friends will assemble at 555 E. Liberty St. for the processional to the church.
