GALE TURNBULL GOSS

Gale Turnbull Goss, 65, of Virginia Beach, co-owner and founder with her husband, William Goss, of Gale Goss Country French Antiques on Colley Avenue in Norfolk, died July 10, 1995, in her home.

Daughter of the late Robert and Emma Turnbull of New Bern, N.C., and Virginia Beach, she was a member of the Class of 1950 at Vassar College. She returned to Virginia in 1992 from Chicago, where she had been an actress and singer since 1966. Her first husband, James Gill, died in 1978.

She is survived by her husband, who continues their business, William R. Goss, a son, Huntley Gill of New York, 2 daughters, Robyn Gill Attaway of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, Miriam Gill Stirn of Alexandria, Va.; and 2 grandchildren.

A church service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 1995, in First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach on 36th and Pacific Avenue by Dr. J. Scottie Griffin. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Garden Club to establish a living memorial in her name. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
