EDWARD M. PASSARO

Edward M. Passaro, 71, died Tuesday, July 11, 1995, at Riverside Hospital.

He was born June 1, 1924, in Bridgeport, Conn. He was a veteran of World War II as a member of the U.S. Air Force, a retired Conductor with the N&W Railroad Workers, member of the United Brotherhood of Railroad Workers, and President of Passaro Construction Co.

He is survived by his wife Beatrice DeRosa Passaro of Newport News; three sons, Edward A. and Mark S., both of Virginia Beach, and Albert M. of Oyster Bay, N.Y.; one daughter, Tina T. Henry of York Co.; three brothers, Tony, Pat, and Joseph; and two sisters, Anna Conte and Mary Szymanski, all of Connecticut.

Visitation at Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Norfolk will be from 6 p.m. until the time of the service; Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday July 13. Interment will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
