Thelma Walzer Vaughan, a former resident of Portsmouth, died July 12, 1995, in Oxford, N.C.
Mrs. Vaughan, a native of New Orleans, La., was the widow of William C. Vaughan.
Survivors include a daughter, Retta Ann Noto of Bal Harbour, Fla.; a son, Chilton E. Kirchmier of Richmond; three grandchildren, Charles Edward Kirchmier, Susan K. Roberts, Carolyn Kirchmier; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. James E. Dorson. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
