LEROY D. PASCO

Leroy Daniel ``Mutt'' Pasco, 70, of the 200 block of Bradford Ave., died July 11, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

He was a native of Evansville, Ind., and was retired from the Norfolk Beverage Company. He was a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was an NCAA basketball official and began officiating in 1954. He was a member of the Board 94 IAABO, where he was the interpreter from 1966 to 1977; and he was a major college basketball official in the Southern Conference including ACC and ECAC, where he officiated in NCAA Tournaments in 1969 and 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Perkins Pasco; his daughter, Lea Ann Pasco Conner of Norfolk; two sons, Danny Lee Pasco of Norfolk and Steven Lynn Pasco of Newport News; one sister, Mary Rose Fritz of Kankakee, Ill.; one brother, Donny Pasco of Long Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Conner and Justin A. Conner, both of Norfolk; his nephew and wife, Kenny Roy and Jan Pasco of Danville, Ill.; and his niece and husband, Tricia Pasco and Derek French of Covington, Ind.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. William C. Stewart. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army and the Talbot Park Baptist Church Endowment Fund.
