Nathaniel Sharpe, 68, of the 2000 block of Deep Creek Blvd., a retired mechanic, died July 10, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Sharpe was born in Nansemond County, Va., and was retired from Pet Dairy after 25 years. He was a member of St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church in Portsmouth and the Gold Trumpets Gospel Group.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sharpe; three daughters, Lois Sharpe, Dorothy Anderson, Gloria Sharpe; a son, Bruce Sharpe; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Sharpe; and a son-in-law, Waymon Anderson, all of Portsmouth; a sister, Elizabeth Allen of Baltimore; three brothers, Luther Sharpe of Surry County, Earnest Sharpe and Horace Sharpe, both of Carrollton, Va.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, Portsmouth, by Bishop D.T. Jackson, Pastor, and the Rev. T.L. Parker eulogizing. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will assemble at 2001 Deep Creek Blvd. at 1:15 p.m. Friday for the processional to the church. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge.
