Unlike several readers who admitted they did not read the article but were quick to condemn ``Alice and Carol'' (Daily Break, July 6) based on two words in the article's headline (``lesbian couple''), I did read the entire article before forming an opinion of its content.
I found the article to be a touching love story of two people who deeply care about each other, their families, their communities and God. To me, these women exemplify strong family and Christian values as evidenced by their commitment to their church and its members.
What a shame that some of the other members of their church and community do not show the same Christian love to these two beautiful women. It would be an honor to be their friend.
