Syble A. Sutter, 94, of 190 W. Bayview Blvd., died July 13, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Sutter was the widow of Otto Joseph Sutter. She was born in Washington County, N.C., and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was also a life member of Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post (NU)3160.
She is survived by her daughter, Syble L. Alphin of Norfolk; son, Robert F. Bateman of Rocky Mount, N.C.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Mark Pullen and Dr. David N. Clay in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk chapel. Place of burial is Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
