APPOINTED TO FISH COUNCIL

U.S. Commerce Secretary Ronald H. Brown has announced the appointment of 20 members to eight regional fishery management councils.

Jodie E. Gay of Hampstead was appointed to a seat on the South Atlantic Council, which includes North and South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. Gay replaces Jerry Schill of New Bern, who represented North Carolina for the past six years.
