Marjorie E. Griswold, 84, of the 1500 block of Wood Ave., a retired sales clerk, died July 14, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Griswold was born in Charleston, W.Va. She retired from Woolworth's after 20 years, was a member of Chesapeake First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was the widow of Wayne D. Griswold Sr.
Survivors include a son, Wayne D. Griswold, and daughter-in-law, Liz, of Chesapeake;; two grandchildren, Wendy D. Hackworth of Virginia Beach and Kelly A. Kelly of Chesapeake; and stepgrandchildren, Ralph W. Sullivan of Norfolk and Kimberly D. Byrd of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Thomas W. Rupp. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
