Carrie Lee Green, of the 700 block of Madison St., Apt. 415, died July 12, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Mrs. Green was born in Quitman, Ga. She was a 60-year member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the widow of Jesse Lee Green.
Survivors include a daughter, Delores Staton of St. Louis, Mo.; a stepson, Linwood Green of Virginia Beach; a brother, S.L. Reynolds of Barney, Ga.; three grandchildren; a devoted niece, Emma Chambliss; a nephew, David W. Taylor; four stepgrandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Herman Williams and the Rev. Ben A. Beamer. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. Monday. The famly will be at the residence of Emma Chambliss, 908 Darren Drive, Portsmouth, Va., and will assemble there for the funeral service.
