Madeline Johnson Hedgepeth, 70, of 27314 Collosse Road, died Sunday, July 16, 1995, at her home.
Mrs. Hedgepeth was a native of Southampton County and was a former manager of the Dairy Queen in Windsor. She was a member of Collosse Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Leslie Hedgepeth; two daughters, Nancy H. Flowers of Sedley and Brenda H. Babb of Collosse; three sons, Lewis L. Hedgepeth of Buckhorn, David A. Hedgepeth of Zuni, and Sidney G. Hedgepeth of Windsor; two sisters, Mary J. Drake and Frances J. Brown, both of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 1995, at the Collosse Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald Trump. The burial will be at Collosse Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
