Mrs. Nellie Perry Farless, age 91, died Sunday, July 16, 1995, in the Edenton Prime Time Nursing Home.
A native of Bertie County, Mrs. Farless was the wife of the late William Timothy Farless and a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in Merry Hill.
She is survived by five daughters, Virginia Williams and Helen Brickhouse, both of Edenton, Hazel Thomas of Candler, N.C., Pearl Berryman of Hobbsville, Bettye Moore of Williamston; two sons, Earl Farless and Roland Farless, both of Edenton; one sister, Madeleine White of Elizabeth City; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by two sons, William Timothy Farless and Samuel Graham Farless.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, July 18, 1995, in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Edenton by the Rev. Thomas Biggs. Burial will follow in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of Virginia Williams at 700 Virginia Road in Edenton.
