Amelia Freitas, 90, a retired seamstress, died July 17, 1995, in her home.
She was a native of Hanford, Calif., and was the widow of Joseph Armas Vieira. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is survived by six children; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Father Terry Marks. Entombment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
