Betty Washington Logan, CPA, is Norfolk's new city auditor effective Aug. 1. Logan was appointed by the Norfolk City Council and will relocate from Washington.
As Norfolk's city auditor, Logan will provide oversight for the city's financial, accounting and budget systems, preventing fraud or abuse and maintaining maximum efficiency. She has 14 years of auditing and accounting experience with private firms in Hyattsville, Md., Woodbridge and Alexandria, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Interior in Washington. by CNB
