Geraldine Bell Williams, 53, of the 1100 block of Deaton Drive, died July 19, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Chocowinity, N.C., and was employed at The Virginian-Pilot & The Ledger-Star for 12 years as a newspaper carrier. She was a member of the Geneva Park Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Williams; five sisters, Magdalene Lewis of Chocowinity, Beulah Rhodes of Elizabeth City, N.C., Ruby Edwards of Chocowinity, Anne Beachum of Chocowinity, and Marion Roxie Edwards of Chocowinity; two brothers, Herman Bell of Chocowinity, and David Bell of Hatfield, Mass.; and seven nieces and seven nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Melvin Styons. Burial is in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
