Richard A. Kennedy, 67, of the 2100 block of Lord's Landing, died July 19, 1995 in Hillhaven Rehabilitative Hospital in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Kennedy was born in Elizabeth City, N.J., and was a Protestant. He was a Purchasing Agent and Vice President and was employed by American Dredging Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Eugenia ``Jean'' S. Kennedy of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Jeanne Alvez of Nassau, Bahamas, and Sandra C. Bowie of Virginia Beach; three sons, Richard Kennedy of San Francisco, Calif., Thomas Kennedy of Chesapeake, Va., and Porter B. Caldwell of Rancocas Woods, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, July 24, at 1 p.m. in Wycliffe Presbyterian Church on Great Neck Rd. with the Revs. Michael Shelton and Elmer Medley presiding. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or donor's choice. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
