Delmas A. Cornelius, 80, of Kelsey Drive, died Wednesday, July 19, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Cornelius was born in Beaufort County, N.C. A retired seaman, he was a member of Edenton Bible Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Barefield Cornelius; three daughters, Barbara Copeland of Tyner, Kathy Raper of Winfall, and Sandi Miller of Hertford; four sons, Gary Cornelius, Charles Cornelius, Bruce Cornelius, and Richard Cornelius, all of Salisbury, Md.; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley White.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Copeland Family Cemetery by the Rev. Bill Patterson. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and other times at the residence.
