Southland Corp. said it has agreed to install Sensormatic Electronics Corp. anti-theft systems in 2,000 of the 7-Eleven convenience stores Southland operates and franchises. Southland also said it will transfer service contracts for about 3,400 additional stores to Sensormatic as existing equipment warranties expire. The companies didn't disclose the value of the multimillion-dollar contract.
