Elizabeth ``Betty'' Tower, 71, of the 5300 block of Fairfield Blvd., died July 15, 1995, at her home with her family.
Mrs. Tower was born in Bridgeton, N.J. She was employed in retail sales for Ski World Ltd. and was a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, Paul L. Tower; four sons, Matt Tower of Greenville, N.C., Douglas Tower of Virginia Beach and William Campbell and John Campbell, both of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Holly Holst of Bonita Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, including Adam and David Campbell of San Diego; a nephew, Michael Blizzard of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Dr. Jerry Horner. Memorial donations may be made in the name of Elizabeth Tower to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, N.Y. 10021. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the memorial service.
