Mildred Evans Norman, 64, of the 500 block of Giles Drive, died July 19, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Norman was born in Beaufort County, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Ray Norman; three daughters, Sandra Boyd and Theresa Stone, both of Chesapeake, and Patty Fletcher of Williston, Fla.; a son, V. Ray Norman II of Chesapeake; five sisters, Almedia Gurganus of Robersonville, N.C., Maxine Jefferson of Chesapeake, Pearl Hansen of Houston, Texas, Minnie McClure of Roper, N.C., and Doris Jackson of Pinetown, N.C.; a brother, Sterling Lamb of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Mark A. Woolard. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
