Harry Lee Ganey Sr., 72, of the 200 block of Yeopim Trail, died July 21, 1995, in an Elizabeth City hospital.
He was a native of Danville, Va., and was a retired welder from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucretia Mae Ganey; two daughters, Linda L. Blondheim and Patricia A. Hannah, both of Chesapeake; one son, Harry L. Ganey Jr. of Chesapeake; two sisters, Vernel Grimes of Danville, Va., and Lorrie of Yorktown, Va.; two brothers, Doug Ganey of Danville and Rufus Ganey of Columbia, S.C.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Danny Gurganus. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portmsouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
