Mary Alice Coleman Barry, 80, of the 6400 block of Auburn Ave., died July 21, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Barry was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Frank E. Barry and was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Lynn Barry of Newport News; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Maggie Lee Coleman of Chesapeake; a sister-in-law, Marie Barry of Richmond; one niece, Patsy Marie Coleman of Michigan; and one nephew, Mike Coleman of Richmond.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Matthews Catholic Church by Father Timothy Drake. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, where the family will remain and receive friends until 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthews Catholic Church Building Fund.
