Nellie Elizabeth Patrick Waller, 77, of the 2400 block of West Road, died Saturday, July 22, 1995, in a Virginia Beach nursing home.
Mrs. Waller was born in South Mills, N.C., and was the daughter of Susie Louise Goodwin Keye of Chesapeake and the late George Kelley Patrick. She was also predeceased by one of her sons, Charles Emmett Waller. Mrs. Waller had retired in 1981 from the Mademoiselle Dress Shop, Portsmouth.
Her memberships include: Lake Drummond Baptist Church in Chesapeake where she had served as a Sunday School teacher for many years and church recorder for 29 years; Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 155, Chesapeake; Lake Drummond Home Demonstration Club and the Grassfield Senior Citizens.
Besides her mother she is survived by her husband, Howard Merdith Waller also of Chesapeake; her three daughters, Grace Waller Sawyer of Virginia Beach, Elinor Beames Horton of Chesapeake and Edna O'Farrell Delaney of Marengo, Ohio; her son, Edward R. O'Farrell of Chesapeake; one sister, Margaret Louise Sawyer of Goldsboro, N.C.; one brother, William Nelson Patrick of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Frank Hughes and the Rev. Jim Clark will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday evening.
