Woodrow Martin Schillo, 77, of the 1600 block of Chesapeake Ave., died July 23, 1995 in his home.
He was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and was a retired cook with Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was retired from the U.S.L Army after 31 years, having served in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors include his four daughters, Carolyn Bright of Marengo, Ohio, Laurie Foster of Colby, Kan., Toni Schillo of Columbus, Ohio, and Barbara Compton of Chesapeake, Va.; one son, Woodrow M. Schillo II of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Myrtle Clark of Cleveland, Ohio, and Midge Becker of Robersonville, N.C.; two brothers, Wilson Schillo and Paul Schillo of Cleveland, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton, Va. The family will receive friends at the residence. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
