Curtis ``Bud'' Moore, 62, of the 4800 block of Larkin St., died July 25, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Emporia, Va., and was the son of Jessie Sills Moore and the late John Moore. He was a member of Claresville Baptist Church and served on the male usher board. He was a retired truck driver with International Harvester Trucking, Inc., where he worked for 32 years.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Hazel Haley Moore of the home; two stepdaughters, Ruth Littlejohn of Phildelphia, Pa., and Brenda King of Virginia Beach; three stepsons, James Haley and Curtis Haley of Norfolk and Paul Haley of Ellicott, Md.; two sisters, Emma Williams and Inell Lewis of Norfolk; one brother, Eddie Moore of Emporia; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday in Claresville Baptist Church, Emporia. Burial will be in Sills Family Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
