Gov. George Allen has appointed Robert M. Oman to the Virginia State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. The nine-member board makes up the regulatory and licensing board for the funeral profession in Virginia. Oman, co-owner of Oman Funeral Home, is a member of the national, Virginia and Tidewater Funeral Directors associations.
