Virginia Brothers Lawrence, 70, of 509 24th Street, died Sunday, July 30, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
She was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and was the loving wife of Isadore N. Lawrence. She retired in 1985 after 40 years as a junior accountant with Lawrence Accounting Service.
In addition to her loving husband, Isadore, she is survived by two daughters, Peggy V. Harrison and L. Susan Gates, both of Virginia Beach; one son, Steve N. Lawrence of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Marian S. Martell of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece, Cecie L. Cox of Detroit, Mich.; and one nephew, William C. Martell Jr. of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, August 3, at 11 a.m. in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, 2020 Laskin Rd., by the Rev. Charles G. Harrison and the Rev. James C. Rittenhouse. The family will receive friends in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel on Wednesday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Building Fund, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, 23451.
