Thelma D. Long, of the 1800 block of Barre Street, died July 31, 1995, in Hillhaven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Long was the widow of Floyd D. Long and was a member of Greater Metropolitian A.M.E. Zion Church, Norfolk, Va. She was a native of Sumter, S.C.
She is survived by cousins, Julius McElveen of Norfolk, Mary McElveen of New York, Janet Trawick of New Jersey, and Paralee Percy of Norfolk; and one nephew, Floyd R. Long, of Portsmouth, Va.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 1995, by the Rev. Thomas Tucker in Greater Metropolitian A.M.E. Zion Church, Norfolk. Burial will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive guests today at noon. Family and friends will assemble for the funeral procession 10 a.m. Friday at 1806 Barre St., Norfolk, Va. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
