Orin Wiley Louthian, 89, of the 2500 block of W. Drum Creek Road, a retired grounds inspector, died Aug. 6, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Louthian was born in York, S.C., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a former deacon of Prentis Park Presbyterian Church (First Presbyterian Church).
Survivors include his wife, C. Belle Louthian; a daughter, Lisa L. Martin of Richmond; a son, Orin Mills Louthian of Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Michael, John, Christina, Sharon, Gabriel and Cassandra.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by Pastor Jim Wall. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
