James J. Hart Jr., 69, of the 1300 block of Wool Ave., died Aug. 5, 1995.
Mr. Hart was the widower of Velma Hart and was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Temple. He was an Army veteran of World War II and Korean Wars.
Survivors include two sisters, Pleasant A. Hart of Portsmouth and Delores Thornton of Bronx, N.Y.; and three brothers, Willie L. Hart, Oscar R. Hart and Wilbert L. Hart, all of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harvey C. Thomas in Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home in charge. The family will be at the residence.
