Charles Leonard Widgeon, 83, died August 6, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Widgeon worked as an auto mechanic and was born in Northhampton Co., Va. He was the widower of Delsie P. Widgeon. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by one daughter, Betty K. Sheridan of Norfolk; three sons, Charles Leroy Widgeon of S.C., Lawrence T. Widgeon of Virginia Beach, and James Keith Widgeon of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 1995, by the Rev. Will Kiser-Lowrance in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be at Cape Charles Cemetery in Cape Charles, Va., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
