JULIAN H. NIXON

Julian Harris Nixon, 81, of the 4100 block of Ewell Road, died Aug. 10, 1995, in his residence.

Mr. Nixon, a retired teacher and researcher at Columbia University, was born in Washington, N.C. He graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1936. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and participated in the Burma-Chinese Theatre for the Counter-Intelligence Corp.

Survivors include two sisters, Anne Greenberg and Mary Catherine Nixon, both of Virginia Beach; one brother William M. Nixon; three nephews, Jonathan Greenberg of Virginia Beach, Daniel Greenberg of Washington, D.C., and Andrew Greenberg of Atlanta, Ga.; and one niece, Rachel Greenberg of Norfolk.

All services and burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, in charge. The family requests all flowers be omitted, and memorial donations be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
