Jesse Beamon Turner, 80, of the 900 block of Rowland Ave., died August 14, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Turner was born in Southampton County, Va., and was a retired roaster fMiller Turner; daughter, Barbara Simmons of Chesapeake; two sons, Beamon Lee Turner and Jesse Dean Turner, both of Chesapeake; five sisters, Elsie Plum, Alma Wray, Mamie Howlett and Mary Matthews, all of Norfolk, and Louise Hartsell of Hopewell, Va.; two brothers, Jimmy Turner and Alton Turner, both of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Frank Forehand in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the residence at all other times.
