VIRGINIA B. CHANDLER

Virginia Brothers Chandler, of the 300 block of S. Main St., died Aug. 13, 1995, in her home.

A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Minnie Clarke Brothers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a retired bookkeeper for the College of William and Mary.

She is survived by a nephew, Edward B. Blanchard of Averill Park, N.Y.; and one great-nephew, John E. Blanchard of Virginia Beach. She was predeceased by her sister, Thelma B. Blanchard.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Todd K. Estes. Memorial donations may be made to Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439. The family will meet with friends following the funeral service. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is in charge.
