Elma Pierce Firth, 65, of the 500 block of Rouvalis Circle, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1995, in Hampton General Hospital.
She was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and a member of Cashie Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse for Maryview Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, James A. Russell Jr. of Las Vegas, and Steve W. Russell of Newport News; two sisters, Priscille Martin of Yorktown, Mary Walters of Hampton; one half-sister, Ollie Mae McGraw of Ahoskie, N.C.; one brother, Bob J. Pierce of Norfolk; one half-brother, Claude Pierce of Windsor, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, by the Rev. J.N. Baggett. The family will receive friends at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
