The Portsmouth man who died in a motorcycle accident Thursday night has been identified as Tony L. Winfield.
Winfield, 21, of the 2500 block of Gothic St., died when the black Kawasaki he was riding crashed at High Street and Martin Luther King Expressway about 10:30 p.m.
A Portsmouth police officer using radar clocked Winfield at 69 mph in a 30-mph zone shortly before the accident.
