Doris Mae Strohkorb Griffith, 75, a longtime resident of Virginia Beach, died on Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995.
She was the daughter of the late Arnold W. and Mable C. Strohkorb, former owners and operators of Marilyn's Inn located at 23rd and Atlantic Ave. from 1945-1968. Mrs. Griffith was married to Robert Boyce Griffith for 25 years until his death in 1972. She was a member of the Princess Anne Garden Club and the First Church of Christ Scientist in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her son, Gary W. Griffith of Kingstowne, Va., and her sister, Marilyn Bilpuch of Chapel Hill, N.C.
