Maude Barhill Tatarynsky, 70, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995.
She was a native of South Carolina and a former resident of Suffolk. She formerly worked as a sales clerk with Denison's of Suffolk. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and the Suffolk Womans Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy T. Pond of Chesapeake; two sisters, Mary B. Elliott and Grace B. Humphries, both of Newport News; her brother, Thomas E. Barnhill of Suffolk; and one granddaughter, Jennie Katherine Pond.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in West End Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. Donald J. Dunlap. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
