Mamie Carol Musselwhite, 74, of the 1200 block of Ormer Road, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 1995.
Mrs. Musselwhite was born in Emporia, Va., and was the widow of Milford A. Musselwhite. She was a member of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Byrum and Ronnie of Chesapeake and Phyllis Wroton and Mike of Chesapeake; two sons and daughters-in-law, M. Leon Musselwhite and Judy of Richmond and Stanley M. Musselwhite and Marsha of Courtland; a brother, Johnnie Price of Norfolk; eight grandchildren, Phillip and David Neal, Ashley Wroton, Denise, Katura, Michael, Brian and Jennifer Musselwhite; and three great-grandchildren, Christefer, Tiffany and Loren Neal.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Roger Hammond. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and at other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Atlantic Shores Baptist Church Children's Building Fund, 1861 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464.
