misidentified in the caption.
Some type was missing from a front-page story Tuesday about ABC
News apologizing to Philip Morris and R.J. Reynolds for reporting
that the companies manipulated the amount of nicotine in their
cigarettes. The incomplete paragraph should have stated:
Diane Sawyer's reporting on the settlement on Monday's news
broadcast was not part of the settlement, said ABC spokeswoman
Patricia Matson.
