Hannah Phelps Todd Argo Pennoyer, of 1332 Kingfisher Court, Virginia Beach, died Aug. 21, 1995, at her home.
She was the widow of Captain Ralph Gilbert Pennoyer United States Navy (Ret.) and the daughter of Elizabeth Marshall Byrn and Francis Philo Phelps of Cambridge, Md. Mrs. Pennoyer was born at Shoal Creek Manor, Dorchester County, Md. on August 30, 1903. She was a lifetime member of Christ Episcopal Church, Cambridge, Md., and attended Eastern Shore Chapel in Virginia Beach for 30 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Hannah Todd Sellers of Ottawa, Canada, and Elizabeth Todd Compo of Pinehust, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A son, George William Todd, III, died in 1967.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 1995 at Eastern Shore Episcopal Church, by Reverend Andrew MacBeth. A graveside service will be conducted by Father Nathaniel Pierce at Christ Church Cemetery, Cambridge, Md. on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 2:30 p.m.
