Marjorie N. Skaggs, 73, died Aug. 22, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was born in Kentucky and was retired from Cox High School after 16 years. She was the widow of Jesse Skaggs, to whom she was married for 37 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Charolette Tatum and Bridgette Rogers, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters; one brother; three grandsons, Keith Newcomb, James Samuel Rogers, and Bryan Newcomb, all of Virginia Beach; and a son-in-law, William J. Tatum of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Charles Wood. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
