Virginia S. Arps, 88, of the 4500 block of Colonial Ave., died Aug. 22, 1995, at her home.
Mrs. Arps was a native of Currituck, N.C., and is survived by her husband, Harry M. Arps of Norfolk; a daughter, Virginia Anderson, and her husband, Leonard of Norfolk; and a granddaughter, Lynn Anne Hembree of Virginia Beach.
A private service was conducted earlier this week. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canine Companions for Independence, Northeast Regional Training Center, P.O. Box 205, Farmingdale, N.Y. 11735-0205, or to the Sentara Hospice Program. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, handled arrangements.
