Dorothy Marie ``Sissy Gal'' Eason, 52, of the 2700 block of Seven Eleven Road, died Aug. 23, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a custodian of Butts Road Elementary School and a custodian of Deep Creek High School. She was born in Norfolk County and was a member of Baptist Rock Baptist Church in Chesapeake. She was a missionary, choir member, prayer warrior, a soloist, and M.C. for the church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Eason Sr. of Chesapeake; two daughters, Lesia Eason and Sherry Eason, both of Chesapeake; two sons, Robert L. Eason Jr. and Leslie Lorenzo Eason, both of Chesapeake; father, Lessie Alexander of Chesapeake; three sisters, Mamie Johnson, Gloria Smith, and Mabel Alexander, all of Chesapeake; three brothers, Herman Alexander, Horace Alexander, and Foster Alexander, all of Chesapeake; uncle, Tommy Alexander of Washington, D.C.; one daughter-in-law, Anne Norman-Eason of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death, by her mother, Edna Alexander.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. James Smith in Baptist Rock Baptist Church, 3233 Lk. Drummond Causeway, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Baptist Rock Baptist Cemetery. Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
