Maj. John H. Judd Jr., 67, of the 8000 block of Atlantic Ave., died Aug. 21, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
He was a self-employed engineer and was born in Jefferson Barracks, Mo. He was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist and Valley Masonic Lodge (NU)109. He was second district chairman of United We Stand America and an Army veteran with 20 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy ``Dee'' Judd of the home; three daughters, Stacy Reid of Maryland, Adrian and Steve Young of Maryland, and Leslie and Scott VanBuskirk of Oregon; one son, Rex and Lori Judd of New York; one sister, Mary Margaret and Lincoln Stewart of Delaware; three grandchildren, Sean, Ashley, and Heather; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday by Ralph Whistler in Chapel in the Pines, Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 North Great Neck Rd., Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. The family will remain to receive friends following the service. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
