Alfred Thomas ``Pap'' Vines Sr., of the 300 block of Boat St., died Aug. 21, 1995.
Survivors include one daughter, Tomasina V. Tillery of Suffolk; one son, Alfred T. Vines Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Macedonia A.M.E. Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. George M. Johnson. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Church Cemetery, Winsor, Va. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. Viewing will be at Peebles Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. today.
