Paul Edmond Harrison Jr., 68, died Aug. 24, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Harrison, a retired branch supervisor at Norfolk Naval Base, worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. He was also retired from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a shipfitter at Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock Corp., from 1949 to 1953. He was born in New York City, and was Episcopalean. He was past master of George W. Wright Masonic Lodge (NU)346, a member of John Walters Royal Arch Chapter (NU)68, Grice Commandry (NU)16, Knights Templar, Khedive Shrine Temple and it's Horse Patrol, Virginia Beach Shrine Club, Hospital Transportation Committee, and Temple Stewards. He was an honorary member of Khedive Arab Patrol, and a member of American Legion Post (NU)141.
Survivors include several cousins. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Chaplain Kenneth Askew. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be accorded in the funeral home by George W. Wright Masonic Lodge. Donations may be made to the Khedive Temple Transportation Fund.
