A body found Wednesday by a crabber has been identified as that of Prentis ``Pete'' Hopkins, 26, of the 1100 block of Blythewood Lane in Suffolk.
Wilford Kale, spokesman for the Virginia Marine Resources Commission said Thursday that Hopkins was the operator of a boat that capsized Sunday, dumping its five occupants into the James River.
Three were rescued, but Jonathan Carey, 18, of Suffolk, also drowned.
Hopkins' body was spotted by the crabber on the James River shoreline near Craney Island.
Hopkins, along with four relatives, went on a fishing trip after midnight. The boat capsized in choppy seas pushed by 20- to 30-knot winds.
The boat will be raised Tuesday, Kale said.
